Ask anyone and they’ll tell you that you can’t have a party without music. In high school, Hill had a reputation of bringing the hottest tapes and newest tracks to parties, and before long he found himself glued to the tape deck, fast- forwarding, rewinding and taking requests. Hill’s curiosity for music and mixing grew, and at the age of 15, he got his first turntable (Hitachi home turntable- no pitch) and was able to develop his passion for music. Since the basement party days, Hill’s dedication and persistence has paid off. He has become a skilled Club DJ with an amazing sense of rhythm and an ear for good music. Hill has played in many of Montreal’s hottest spots including: Dome, Element, Dorcia, Orchid, Joy, Groove Society, Super 9, Upperclub, Diamond, L'empire, Atlhantis, Tokyo Bar, 737, Blu, Laboom, Exit etc. and has worked with top entertainers in the music business such as Tweet, De la Soul, Blu Cantrell and Dj Kool, Dj Finesse. Whether it is R&B, Hip Hop, house, Latin rhythms, reggae or soca, Dj Hill can mix any style of music, making him one of Montreal's’ most versatile and talented Djs. Last fall, Dj Hill opened UPCAST MEDIA, a Graphics Design studio where he and is Partners design & program Websites (php, css, mysql, flash, actionscript 1.0/2.0 & c++, they also offer printing solutions and a lot more check him out at www.upcastmedia.com
